At Great Christian Academy, we believe that having competent and well-performing teachers would be one of the most important resources in producing well-rounded students. Our teachers are considered the professional agents and the most directly responsible and influential persons in the lives of our future Christian leaders, our students; they are the ones in charge of molding our students to learn, shaping their character and shall benefit from the quality of their teaching. Prior to the start of another challenging Academic Year 2022 – 2023, GCA faculty had underwent several trainings and academic preparations. A period of almost a month has been allotted in equipping our teachers in the following areas:
- Improving Online Learning Instruction and Modality and upgrading technology skills of faculty in using Learning Management System
- First Aid and Risk and Disaster Preparedness Training: Equipping Teachers in Times of Emergency
- Simulation Activities and Contingency Plan in preparation for the opening of the new academic year
- Discussions and presentations of the school’s direction, academic guidelines, plans, and requirements; and DepEd’s guidelines (Memorandum no. 34 s. 2022) in the transitioning to full face to face classes from online and blended learning modalities
- Teaching Demonstrations and Classroom Restructuring
- Spiritual Formation through a retreat and team building; and
- with all year-round teacher development programs and spiritual nourishment
Despite of the hectic preparations and amidst the on-going health crisis, GCA administration, faculty and staff remain steadfast, resilient and excited in meeting once again all our students starting August 15, 2002 on the very first day of the opening of the new academic year 2022 – 2023! With God’s sustenance and grace, we are all again READY TO SERVE! To God be all the glory!
